Crash involving infant under investigation in Salisbury

Troopers in Salisbury say charges are pending, following a crash that sent two women, and an infant to the hospital on Thursday night.

Maryland State Police say, they were called to West Road just before 10 PM in reference to a collision. Investigators determined that 46-year-old Keshia Garvin, of Salisbury, was driving south on West road near Chippewa Boulevard. That’s when 23-year-old Tiah Blake, traveling on Chippewa Boulevard, reportedly turned right onto South West Road colliding with Garvin.

All involved were taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, including Blake’s eight-month-old child, where they are being treated for injuries.

The investigation is on-going, and no charges have been filed at this time, but Troopers do indicate that charges are pending for Garvin.

Witnesses of this incident can call investigators at 410-749-3101.
