Police: Suspect sought in Dover church burglary

A burglary remains under investigation, after police say a suspect robbed a church while someone was inside, in Dover.

The Dover Police Department says on Thursday, around 1:21 AM, a 23-year-old woman was in the basement of Wesley Chapel, on North Bradford Street, where a burglary happened, in Dover. According to the report, while the woman was in the basement, an unknown suspect forced in a piece of plywood that was covering a window to the room. At that point, the woman reportedly ran into the nearby hallway to call police. The suspect apparently stole a laptop computer and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

This burglary remains under investigation by the Dover Police Department.
