Police: Father and son arrested following drug investigation

Police say a father and son have been arrested after a two-month long investigation into illegal drug sales occurring near Felton.

Authorities reportedly responded to a home on the 100-block of Central Avenue on Friday in order to conduct a search warrant regarding the illegal sale of cocaine.

25-year-old Michael Nunn and his father 55-year-old Keith Nunn, Sr. were taken into custody without incident, according to police.

We’re told a search of the property found 16 grams of crack cocaine, 43 grams of steroids, and a loaded .45 caliber Glock handgun. Police say that handgun had been reported stolen on August 19, 2015.

Authorities also reportedly seized a .32 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number, assorted ammunition, and $2,635.00 in suspected drug sale proceeds.

During the search, police also say they found pillow case containing jewelry that had been reported stolen during a burglary from a residence located in the 22000 block of Concord Pond Road on September 11, 2015.
 
Michael Nunn was charged with two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony,
four counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number,
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Receiving a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance, three counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

He was was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Institution in default of $9,600.00 secured bail.
 
Keith Nunn, Sr., who was also found to have active capiases from the Family Court and the Court of Common Pleas, was arrested and charged with Receiving a Stolen Firearm.

He was also committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Institution but in default of $500.00 secured bail.
