Motorcyclist recovering after serious crash in Easton

Police in Easton say, a Cordova man is now recovering after his motorcycle reportedly crashed into a work van on Wednesday.
The Easton Police Department say, their officers were called to the area of Elliott Road and Teal Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Once on scene an investigation revealed 32- year-old Jeremy Slayden, of Denton was driving a Chevrolet van southbound on Elliott Road and had stopped to make a left turn onto Teal Drive. That’s when reports say, 45-year-old Gregory Rippel, of Cordova also traveling southbound on Elliott Road passed a vehicle on his motorcycle that was turning into the Shell Station on Elliott Road, and collided with the rear of the work van.
Reports say, as a result of the impact, Rippel was airlifted to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he has been listed in stable but critical condition.
Slayden was reportedly uninjured in this incident.
