Officials: Woman injured after car crashes into a ditch in Lewes

Police say that a woman was hospitalized after a single vehicle crash in Lewes on Wednesday morning.

According to the Lewes Fire Department, firefighters responded to a crash on Beaver Dam Road at 8:30 AM.

Officials say that a woman's car ran off the road into a ditch. The woman was taken to Beebe Medical Center for non life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation by Delaware State Police.
