Coronavirus cases across the shore: October 28, 2020

DELMARVA – Here is a look at COVID-19 cases across the Eastern Shore.

Maryland added 684 new cases overnight, bringing the state’s total to 142,425 confirmed cases, with a positivity rate of 3.36%. Locally, Wicomico County added just one new case and saw a slight drop in the positivity rate, from 4.05% to 3.73%. Worcester County sits at 1,212 cases with a positivity rate of 3.41%, up just slightly from the previous day.

In Delaware, 143 new cases were added over the last 24 hours, bringing the state’s total to 24,392. The statewide positivity rate remains stable at 7.2%. Sussex County is up to 7,925 confirmed cases with a positivity rate of 10%.

Virginia added more than 1,300 new cases overnight, bringing their total to 164,308 confirmed cases. Accomack County has a total of 1,214 confirmed cases.
