Cambridge man arrested after reportedly attempting to hit teens with vehicle

A man is facing multiple charges, after police say he tried to hit a group of teens with his vehicle for allegedly throwing objects at his vehicle, in Cambridge.
The Cambridge Police Department says on Monday, officers responded to the area of Robbins Street and Phillips Street for reports of an assault. According to the report, 61-year-old Ronald Woolford, of Cambridge, became angry after a group of juveniles walking in the area began throwing objects towards his vehicle. Police say Woolford then got into his vehicle and started to chase after the teens at a high rate of speed, going through yards as the juveniles were trying to not get hit by Woolford's vehicle.
Officers report that Woolford was later found and arrested. Woolford was charged on a district court warrant for three counts of first degree assault, three counts of second degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, and reckless driving.
He is currently being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
