Hot Shooting Eagles Rout SU

The Salisbury University women’s basketball team dropped a conference match up Saturday when they fell to Mary Washington 79-53. The loss drops the Sea Gulls to 10-11.
The Eagles came out of the gates red hot from down town. They would connect on long ball and long ball as they quickly built up a double digit lead. Julia McLaughlin would try and lead her team back, making a couple tough shots. She would keep them within striking distance for part of the first half, but the Eagles continued to bomb away from distance and find the bottom of the net as they connected on four 3’s on the day. SU couldn’t ever string together enough stops to get back in the game as they would go on to get routed.
Salisbury University returns to work on Wednesday when they host Wesley.
