UPDATE: Up to $2,000 offered for tips leading to arrest in home invasion

Authorities are now offering a reward of up to 2,000 dollars for tips leading to the arrest of two suspects believed to be involved in a home invasion, police announced Sunday.
The incident was reported around 11:00 a.m. Saturday on the 500 block of Christopher Street.
Captain Rich Kaiser of the Salisbury Police says the victims are a 65-year-old man and 88-year-old woman.
We’re told the victims had just arrived home when two men allegedly entered the residence through an “open and unlocked door”. Police say as the victims tried to get the suspects to leave, one of them pushed the woman to the side and into a wall.
The male victim was reportedly struck in the face before the suspects were able steal property of the victims prior to fleeing the home in an unknown direction.
Police say the victims received minor injuries to their faces but medical attention was not required.
Captain Kaiser told 47ABC on Saturday that the incident was not connected to any other event and appears to be isolated.
Police describe both suspects as black males in their early 20’s and last reportedly seen wearing dark clothing. We’re told one suspect had a thin build and stands about 6 feet tall. The second one is described as 5’08” with a “stocky” build.
