Special needs dog finds forever family

SALISBURY, Md. – One special pup has finally found her forever family.

This adorable pup named Nyla, who was diagnosed with glaucoma at just a year old, went home with her new family on Wednesday. The Brandywine Valley SPCA took her in because her owner couldn’t give her the care she needed and brought her in to be euthanized. But, the shelter saw potential for a great quality of life with her eyes removed, so the owner surrendered Nyla to them.

Fortunately, after her surgery, Nyla immediately fit in with the other dogs in the house. Her adoption became official Wednesday, so she is off to live her happily ever after.
