Salisbury house damaged in shots fired incident, police investigating
SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened late Tuesday night.
According to police, the incident happened at around 11:30 p.m., in the 600 block of Liberty Street. On arrival, officers determined that a residence had been hit by projectiles as a result of having been discharged from a firearm.
Officers met with the occupants of the home that was hit and learned that no one was injured. Inside at the time of the incident was a 38-year-old female, 22-year-old female, and three children ranging from 3 years to 14 years of age. The occupants reported that just before they called police they heard at least two gunshots coming from outside of the residence.
Detectives recovered evidence from the scene that will be sent to the Maryland State Police Forensics Laboratory for analysis.
