SU Basketball Rolls Frostburg On Senior Night

The Salisbury University men’s basketball team picked up another conference win Saturday afternoon when they rolled Frostburg State 84-61. The win improves the Sea Gulls to 20-5 on the year.

Salisbury University was celebrating senior night the best way they know how, by rolling a conference opponent. The Sea Gulls came out hot from the field and quickly built up a 18 point lead by halftime. Rockey Harris would have his shooting stroke going, finishing with a game high 19 points. SU went with a different starting lineup since it was senior night, and that resulted in big contributions off the bench. Justin Witmer, Gordon Jeter, Chad Barcikowski and Adrien Straughn all finished in double figures off the bench as the Gulls bench was responsible for 51 of the teams 84 points.

The Sea Gulls now wait to see who they will face in the second round of the conference tournament.
