Gulls fall big to Cortland State

The Salisbury baseball team lost their second game of the season, falling 27-13 to the nation’s top team Cortland State, on Sunday afternoon in Salisbury.
Shortstop Pete Grasso had three hits, and drove in three runs for the Gulls. Second baseman Alex Lipman also had three RBIs. Cortland State finished with 24 hits, including four home-runs. Red Dragons first baseman Austin Clock had a game-high 5 RBIs on the day.
The Gulls are back in action this coming Tuesday, when they visit Virginia Wesleyan. First pitch is set for 1:30 p.m.
