Micro-grants available for community gardens

Fresh produce, an improved neighborhood, and being more connected to the environment are just some of the the effects of community gardening.
If you’re looking to launch or expand a community garden and you’re looking for funding, there’s help out there in Delaware.
Non-profit organizations can apply for micro-grants funded through the Delaware Department of Agriculture.
The program offers up to 1,000 dollars per project. Overall, there are 10,000 dollars reportedly available statewide through this pilot program.
Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on April 1st. For-profit businesses and individuals are not eligible.
