City of Salisbury now accepting 24/7 phone payments

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury’s Finance Office has announced that it is now accepting phone payments through Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology.

We’re told this new option will allow customers to easily make official payments for utility billing, parking permits, taxes, and all other miscellaneous payments owed to the City of Salisbury. There is no convenience fee to pay a water and sewer bill through the system. To pay all other bills, a small convenience fee will be charged, which is a percentage of the transaction’s amount.

Citizens can make payments by calling 888-250-1639. The payment line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for convenience, and is also available in both English and Spanish. If you need to make a payment due to water cutoff and the funds must be applied same day, you are asked to contact the City’s utility billing department directly at 410-548-3115 or email finance@salisbury.md.

In addition, the City of Salisbury’s Finance Office is open to the public once again, effective noon today, September 9th. Hours will be Mondays from 9 a.m. to noon, and Wednesdays from noon to 3 p.m. Only one customer will be allowed in the lobby at a time, social distancing must be followed, and masks are required at all times.
