Shooting in Dover leaves one injured, police investigating
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that injured an 18-year-old early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at around 1:50 a.m. The victim was reportedly sitting in a car in the parking lot near 300 Isabelle Isle in Dover, at which point he heard multiple shots and fled in his vehicle, then on foot.
The victim was taken to the hospital by a friend, where he was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the chest area. The victim was not able to provide a description of a possible suspect or suspect vehicle.
