Application process for Delaware Resilience Fund Program starts now
DELAWARE — Delaware families impacted by recent back-to-back storms in the first state can now start applying for financial assistance through the Delaware Resilience Fund.
The program, authorized by Governor John Carney under executive order #44, was created to help families and communities devastated by tornadoes and other severe weather, that occurred earlier this month in the state.
The program will include two categories: direct assistance to qualifying individuals and support to volunteer groups, non-profits, and religious organizations assisting with recovery efforts.
We’re told Delawareans have until next Friday, September 4th to apply. Initial awards are anticipated to be announced on September 14th.
