Bruiser Reunited

county humane society and scheduled to be euthanized is now back in the hands of its owner, dawn o’connell. bruiser was originally taken away after he had attacked another one of o’connell’s dogs and deemed dangerous by the county health department. o’connell appealed the county’s decision – on the grounds that county code precludes the county’s right to deem a dog dangerous — if the injury sustained by another animal happens on the owner’s property — let alone euthanize the animal. o’connell won the appeal this week – and bruiser is now back in her arms. next week bruiser will move in with a family friend to ensure that he and the other dog he fought with – don’t fight again. he’s amazing, he’s such a sweet boy and i’m so excited…i’m so excited to have him home. we have woods and swamps and four wheelers trails, plenty of room to run, wide open spaces, we have one neighbor so he’s gunna definitely be loving life now o’connell is working to pay for the hospital bill of the dog that bruiser attacked. she says that dog – shiloh – has recovered. but she still needs help paying the bill. we have the link to their go fund me page on our website – 47 abc dot com. the dover air force is now one step closer to completing more missions at home
