According to Maryland State Police, at 9:32 PM, troopers were sent to a single vehicle crash involving a pedestrian and a 2004 GMC Yukon at westbound US Route 50 at Martin Luther Drive in Hebron.
When troopers arrived on scene, they made contact with the vehicle's driver, 42-year-old Melanie Peterson of Wilmington, to check for injuries as EMS was caring for a teen pedestrian.
