DSP searching for suspect in Felton armed robbery

The Delaware State Police have reported they are investigating the robbery of a south Felton area gas station that happened early Monday morning.

Officials say the initial investigation has determined that the incident happened around 3:50AM. According to the report, a man walked into the Uncle Willies on South DuPont Highway holding a knife. The suspect apparently confronted an employee at the counter, and demanded money from the register.  

Officials say the employee then ran from behind the counter and into a back room as the suspect removed money from a safe. The suspect then left the store, and the victim was reported as uninjured in the incident.

Authorities describe the suspect as a man, 5’10” tall, last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and sweatpants, black gloves, and a mask covering his face, while armed with a knife.
