Officials: Boy transported to Johns Hopkins after getting stuck in a stream pipe

Officials say that a boy was rescued after getting stuck in a pipe on Wednesday morning in Chestertown.

According to the Chestertown Fire Company, a 12-year-old boy got his leg stuck in a six inch stream pipe on Wednesday on Washington Avenue.

Officials say that it took 50 minutes for the boy to be rescued and that he was flown to Johns Hopkins for his injuries.

It's unclear how the boy got stuck.
