Death investigation underway in Georgetown, victims identified

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating after two people were found dead early Sunday morning in Georgetown.

According to police, troopers were called to a residence in the 28000 block of Johnson Road in Georgetown shortly after midnight. On arrival, two individuals were found dead inside the residence.

The two have been identified as 49-year-old Crystal Choplick and her husband, 52-year-old Donald Faulkner Jr. Their bodies have been turned over to the Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and there is no concern for public safety at this time.
