Salisbury woman arrested for allegedly cutting roommate with a knife

Deputies say that a Salisbury woman was arrested for allegedly cutting her roommate with a knife during a fight on Friday evening.
According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, on Friday at 5:58 p.m., a deputy responded to an apartment on South Schumaker Drive in Salisbury for a reported assault.
The deputy then met with a victim who said that her roommate, 35-year-old Oifoghe Ogheneruona of Salisbury, cut her on her arm with a knife during a fight. The deputy reportedly saw signs of injury that matched the account.
The deputy placed Ogheneruona under arrest and transported her to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner.
Following a first appearance, the commissioner released Ogheneruona on $10,000 bond on second degree assault and reckless endangerment charges.
