Talbot Co. man participates in Taps Across America on Memorial Day

TALBOT CO., Md. – We are highlighting a Talbot County man who participated in “Taps Across America” on Monday to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Pete Lesher, who sits on the Talbot County Council, played Taps at 3 p.m. on the Miles River to honor veterans past and present. In a post on Facebook, Lesher says he was honoring those who gave their last full measure fighting for all the United States Flag stands for.
