Wanted Salisbury man arrested on drug charge

A man was arrested on a drug charge after deputies say he was wanted by another Maryland law enforcement agency.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says on Sunday, 44-year-old Luis Colon Cruz, of Salisbury, was arrested in the 700 block of Booth Street, in Salisbury. Deputies say Colon Cruz was wanted on an active Maryland State Police warrant.

According to the report, a deputy searched Colon Cruz and found a smoking device with cocaine residue.

Authorities say he was taken to Central Booking and charged with possession of CDS/crack cocaine.
