Judge rules that restrictions placed upon OC performers infringes on first amendment rights

We move now to good news for boardwalk performers, a judge ruled that the restrictions placed upon Ocean City performers infringed on their first amendment rights.
This means performers will now be able to start whenever they want and perform wherever they want, which will help them make more money.
Ocean City's Mayor Rick Meehan is not as happy about the ruling.
He believes the increase in performers will cause congestion on the boards, making it harder for boardwalk trams and emergency personnel trying to get by.
Mayor Rick Meehan with the Town of Ocean City said, "It's probably going to increase the amount of manpower we need to move people out of the way for the train, but the judge has ruled so we're going to comply with his ruling."
Now there are still some restrictions in place.
Performers can't have any signage or props taller than 6 feet, and they have to stop performing at 1 in the morning.
