Salisbury Zoo announces name of baby bear

SALISBURY, Md. – After months of waiting, the baby bear at the Salisbury Zoo finally has a name.

His name is Sinchi! The zoo took to Facebook on Thursday to announce the news. After the zoo’s gender reveal last month, staff at the zoo asked the community to help name the baby bear.

Sinchi was born on January 11th to parents Chaska and Pinocchio.
