Magnolia teen arrested in connection with two shots fired complaints

MAGNOLIA, Del. – Delaware State Police have charged a 19-year-old Magnolia teen in connection with two shots fired complaints that happened back in February.

The first incident happened at around 10:41 p.m. on February 2nd, in the unit block of Terry Drive. On arrival, troopers discovered that the residence had been hit by gunfire. There were seven family members inside at the time of the incident, ranging in age from 13 to 21. No one was injured.

The second incident happened at the same residence at around 9:14 p.m. on February 9th. When troopers arrived, they found the residence had been hit by gunfire again, while eight family members were inside the residence. No one was injured in this incident.

Through investigative measures, 19-year-old Trey Bowden was identified as the suspect in both incidents. Police say Bowden, who was already in custody at the Department of Corrections, was charged on May 4th with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, 15 counts of reckless endanger first degree, and criminal mischief.

He was issued a $29,700 secured bond and remained in custody at SCI.
