Dover Air Force to honor COVID-19 responders with flyby
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Air Force Base is honoring COVID-19 responders with a flyby on Wednesday afternoon.
They will be conducting a C-17 Globemaster III flyby throughout Delaware, “in a show of support and appreciation for COVID-19 responders.”
The flight map shows the flyby will be over the following locations at the specified times:
- Christiana at 3:15 PM
- Dover at 3:30 PM
- Milford at 3:40 PM
- Lewes at 3:45 PM
- Seaford at 3:50PM
After the flyby passes over Seaford, it will head back to Dover. Officials are reminding people to follow social distancing guidelines. “Please refrain from traveling to landmarks, hospitals or gathering in large groups to view the flyby and continue to maintain social distancing guidelines.”
