Lincoln man arrested on harassment charges

HARRINGTON, Del. – Harrington Police say they have arrested a Lincoln man on harassment and terroristic threatening charges.

Police were contacted on April 18th by two female victims, ages 31 and 80, who reported that they were being harassed and threatened by 35-year-old Bruce Humphrey. They provided several calls and text messages sent to both of them by Humphrey throughout the month of April, threatening bodily harm, threatening to burn down the victims’ house, and kill the victims. It was learned that Humphrey was recently evicted from property he rented from the victims.

A warrant was obtained for Humphrey, who was arrested on Friday and charged with two counts of terroristic threatening and three counts of harassment. He was later released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
