Open for Business: Ricky’s Pub & Grub opens second location in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Fat Ricky’s Pub & Grub opened their second location in Cambridge after having to close temporarily in Denton.

Fat Ricky’s Pub & Grub opened on Friday at 530 Poplar Street for drive-thru and delivery only.

The restaurant offers all kinds of delicious foods including burgers, steaks, crab cake sandwiches and more.

The owner says his restaurant in Denton was closed temporarily because there was no business there.

So, he’s depending on his new spot in Cambridge to help keep his business going.

“We’ve seen an 80 percent decrease in business and 80 percent is a very large percentage to lose, but we have to keep going,” said Rick Phillips, owner of Fat Ricky’s Pub & Grub.

“I mean everybody is in this thing as they say together and we gotta get through it and people have to eat and bills need to be paid,” said Phillips.

Phillips says he’s hoping to stay in Cambridge for a long time and he’s looking forward to reopening his restaurant in Denton in the future.
