Brittingham leads Decatur to first title game since 1971

The Stephen Decatur boys basketball team advanced to their first state final in 45 years, defeating Seneca Valley 66-61 at the Xfinity Center on the campus of the University of Maryland College Park on Thursday night.
Torrey Brittingham led all scorers with 33 points, and finished with 5 assists, and four rebounds. Brittingham hit four clutch free throws to seal the deal down the stretch for the Seahawks. Keve Aluma finished with 9 points, and 8 rebounds to pace Decatur on the boards. JaQuan Johnson also finished with 9 points for the Seahawks. For Seneca Valley, four players finished in double figures, with point guard Triston Price finishing with 18 before fouling out.
Decatur now advances to the state final, which will be played on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm in the Xfinity Center. The Seahawks are looking for their first championship since 1970.
