Sea Gulls Play Long Ball In Win Over Wesley

The Salisbury University baseball team brought their bats with them Wednesday afternoon when they topped rival Wesley 22-13. The win improves the Sea Gulls to 9-4 on the year.

The Wolverines would strike first off a sac fly from Christopher Seibert in the top of the first inning, but SU would have an answer in the bottom of the frame. Pete Grasso would start it off with an RBI double. After 2 more runs in the 1st, SU would tack on a few more in the 2nd including a towering 3 run shot by Alex Lipman. The Sea Gulls then broke the game wide open with a 9 run 3rd inning, followed by a couple homers in the 4th to really open the game up. the Wolverines continued to battle and were able to put up several more runs, but the deficit proved to be too much.
