Frostburg offense too strong for Wesley

The Wesley men’s lacrosse team fell to a record of 3-6 on Thursday night, losing 18-5 at home to Frostburg State.

The Wolverines actually took a 1-0 lead less than one minute into the contest, when Sam Seibert netted the first of his four goals on the day. The lead would be short-lived though, as Frostburg rattled off none straight goals into the second frame, and led 13-3 at the half. Wesley goalkeeper Nolan Vessey finished with 13 stops on the night.

The loss puts Wesley at 0-2 to start conference play. They are back in action on Thursday, March 23rd when they visit Keystone College.
