Snow Hill Completes Wild Comeback Over Crabbers

The Snow Hill baseball team completes a wild comeback Saturday, fighting from an early 6-0 deficit to defeat Crisfield 7-6. The win improves the Eagles to 3-0, while the loss drops the Crabbers to 1-2.

The Crabbers would take advantage of a few miscues by the Eagles early. Snow Hill would hit a couple batters, while have trouble handling the ball in the infield to allow a few scores to come in. Crisfield would then continue to take advantage of opportunities in the 2nd after Jason Bordon hit an RBI single to score Mike Somers. With the deficit at 6-0 after 2, the Eagles would finally settle in. Richie Jones connected on a RBI single to highlight a 3 run 3rd to get it started. Then Snow Hill would add 2 more scores in the 5th after Gabe Simpson found some room for a RBI single. Then with the bases loaded with 2 outs, Ryan Donaway would hit the go-ahead 2 RBI single to center. The defense would do the rest as Snow Hill was able to close it out for the win.
