Dover gas station robbed at gunpoint

Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Shore Stop at 3668 N. Dupont Highway on Saturday night.  Around 10PM the black male suspect entered armed with a handgun. 

A customer was at the counter when the suspect, described to be around 5ft. 7in. approached the customer and the clerk demanding money.  The clerk handed over an unknown amount of cash, while the customers wallet was taken from them.

According to the report the suspect then fled, and nobody was injured in the ordeal.  The suspect was wearing a mask, and it’s unclear what kind of handgun he used in the heist according to police. The suspect was last seen wearing tan pants with a dark sweatshirt, and he is believed to be around 150-160 lbs.

DSP is currently investigating the case, and they say there is no surveillance footage that is ready to be released yet.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
