Officials investigating Easton dumpster fire

Officials say that they are investigating a dumpster fire that happened on Monday evening in Easton.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office, 15 Easton firefighters responded to a blaze at an eight yard commercial dumpster on Ocean Gateway at the Aldi Supermarket.

Officials say that the estimated loss was $1,000. The fire took about 10 minutes to control, and the fire started inside of the dumpster.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated and anyone with information is asked to call the Upper Eastern Regional Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal at 410-822-7609.
