Easton police arrest woman in connection to Kohl’s theft

Authorities in Easton say they arrested a woman, charging her with theft on Tuesday afternoon.

Easton Police responded to a Kohl’s store for a theft complaint shortly after 1 PM.

Police say loss and prevention employees claimed a women, later is identified as 32-year-old Ashley Ellis, was allegedly hiding stolen items on herself.

Officials then arrested Ellis, and charged her with theft less than $1000, and malicious destruction property.

She was taken before a Court Commissioner and released on a $5000 unsecured bond.
