House fire under investigation in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware fire officials are investigating a fire that damaged a single family home in Georgetown Thursday morning.

Firefighters responded to the 18000 block of Gravel Hill Road shortly after 9 a.m. to battle the blaze. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damage has been estimated at $100,000.
