Laurel man arrested on aggravated menacing, other charges

LAUREL, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested a Laurel man on aggravated menacing and other charges Wednesday afternoon.

At around 4 p.m., troopers were called to the area of Samuel Hill Road and East Trap Pond Road for a report of a disorderly subject. On arrival, a 38-year-old male victim reported that he was traveling on Samuel Hill Road when a subject ran out in front of his vehicle, causing the victim to have to swerve to avoid hitting the subject. The victim then stopped to check on the subject, who became disorderly and threw a beer can at his vehicle, before throwing a knife at the rear window of the vehicle, causing it to shatter.

The victim was able to leave the area and was not injured.

A second victim, a 16-year-old female, was also traveling on the road when she came in contact with the subject, who reportedly began yelling at the victim and approached her front passenger side window. He then proceeded to stab the top of the door frame with a knife, leaving a small puncture hole. This victim was also able to leave uninjured.

Troopers identified the subject as 24-year-old Gideon Sisk 4th, and made contact with him at his residence on Samuel Hill Road, detecting an odor of alcohol on contact. He was taken into custody and charged with two felony counts of aggravated menacing, two counts of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and drunk on a highway. He was held at SCI on $12,301 cash only bond.
