UPDATE: Man convicted for theft, burglary

A man now faces the possibility of 20 years in prison after police say he illegally lived in a foreclosed Parsonsburg home for about 4 years.
Christopher Fleming, 33, was convicted Wednesday in Wicomico County Circuit Court on charges of 1st degree Burglary, Theft Under $1,000, Burglary 4th Degree, and Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1,000.
Police arrested him last May.
Authorities believe Fleming was living in that foreclosed home since 2011, but it was not until he reportedly started renting out a second foreclosed home in Salisbury that he popped up on their radar.
Andrew Illuminati of the Wicomico County State’s Attorney office says Fleming is now waiting for a sentencing date.
