Apr. 8 – Mindfully Anchored Recap

Our Mindfully Anchored series comes to an end with a recap explaining the organization.
Mindfulness is a simple but powerful technique to focus attention, manage emotions, handle stress, and resolve conflicts. Instead of simply telling youth to do these things, we can show them how. This allows the student to make wiser decisions in the heat of the moment, rather than only in retrospect.
Research suggests that children and adolescents with less stress in their lives, and those who can focus and handle the stress they face, tend to outperform their peers.
Mindfully Anchored Inc, a nonprofit public charity, grants scholarships to applicants chosen to serve as Mindfully Anchored Ambassadors! The Ambassador will learn basic fundamentals of personal mindfulness practice, as well as how to facilitate a youth program.
