Third suspect arrested for Salisbury arson fire

Officials say that a third person has been arrested in connection with a Salisbury arson fire that happened last Friday.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office, the ongoing investigation involving an arson fire at Friendly Food Store on North Salisbury Boulevard in Salisbury has led to a third arrest.

Investigators have arrested 37-year-old Mayank Kothari for his alleged involvement in the intentionally set fire which originally happened on June 16. Kothari, who was reportedly an employee at the Friendly Food Store, has been charged with second degree arson.

He was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he is being held pending his first appearance.

39-year-old Mohammad Adeen and 42-year-old Timothy DeMent are also being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center pending their first appearance.
