Cape Stays Undefeated With Double Digit Victory

The Cape Henlopen girls lacrosse team hosted Smyrna Friday night and won by double digits 20-2 and improving to 5-0 on the season. 

This win comes off another huge victory, this time against Indian River on Wednesday by a score of 21-2.

Cape scored 12 goals in the first half to Smyrna’s one goal, and 8 in the second half. 

The Vikings were lead by Elizabeth Frederick with 5 goals and two assists, Tess Bernheimer had 3 goals and one assist, and Mallory Jones notched in 3 goals.  

The Vikings are back in action Monday against Stephen Decatur at home, while the Eagles are traveling to Caesar Rodney on Tuesday.
