DSP investigating several criminal mischief complaints in Sussex Co.

SUSSEX CO., Del. – Delaware State Police say they have handled numerous reports of criminal mischief to vehicles and business windows recently, and are asking for the public’s help in their investigations.

We’re told the reports began in late March 2020, in the County Seat Gardens Mobile Home Park area, and have since spread throughout central Sussex County. In multiple incidents, vehicle and business windows were reportedly shot at with what appears to be a BB gun or are being hit with some type of blunt force object. We’re told that in these cases, the suspect(s) motive appears to be criminal mischief related, as no items have been stolen.
