Seaford Volunteer Fire Department cheering on health care workers at Nanticoke Hospital
SEAFORD, Del.- First responders showed up in force to appreciate health care workers outside of Nanticoke Memorial Hospital Thursday.
The Seaford Volunteer Fire Department cheered on health care workers, while blasting their sirens.
This heartwarming event happened at around 6 p.m.
The Seaford Fire Chief told us that they want workers on the front lines to know they are there to support them during these trying times.
“We just try to make sure that everybody realizes that we’re all in this together, we understand the crisis that’s happened, but we want people to be healthy, we want people to wake up with their families and live their lives,” Jack Wilson, Fire Chief of Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, said.
A similar appreciation event happened outside of Beebe Health Care as well tonight.
