Police arrest Seaford man for third DUI

The Harrington Police Department say they have arrested a Seaford man after his third DUI offense.

According to police, on Sunday officers stopped 39-year-old Ithamar Blanchard on South DuPont Highway in  at about 2:30 AM, for a traffic violation. Police say on contact Blanchard smelled of alcohol and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests.

Police say, they also determined that prior to driving Blanchard had also smoked marijuana.

Blanchard was charged with third offense DUI of a combination of alcohol and any drug and failure to remain in a single lane. He was later released on $2,550 unsecured bond.
