BREAKING: WMDT projects Bryan Shupe to win re-election to Delaware House District 36
SUSSEX COUNTY, Del. – WMDT is projecting Representative Bryan Shupe will win re-election to Delaware’s 36th House District following Tuesday’s race.
Shupe has served in the Delaware House of Representatives since 2018, and serves on the Education, Health, Economic Development and Commerce and Judiciary committees. He previously told WMDT that his priorities are cutting spending and taxes, supporting infrastructure for medical facilities, schools and first responders, and preventing what he calls a supermajority in Dover.
As of midnight on Nov. 4, Shupe had won nearly 54 percent of the vote. He defeats Democratic challenger Andrew Gorlich.
