Charlie Paparella explores the beauty of Ingrams Pond
MILLSBORO, Del. – In this week’s edition of Back on the Road with Charlie Paparella, brought to you by Furniture & More Gone Coastal, Charlie explored the beauty and activities Ingrams Pond has to offer.
Charlie said the countless millponds of Delaware are a treasure for those who live nearby, serving as a place where old friends can reunite, or where the friendless can find solace in nature.
He added that the old millponds aren’t usually stocked, but there’s plenty of bass, pickerel and crappie for freshwater fishermen. One junior fisherman learning from his father showed Charlie how he caught a worm.
“Besides the fishermen fishing for fish, there are fish hunting for bugs so small they can walk on the water; an interesting thing to watch if you have nothing better to do,” Charlie remarked. “I don’t fish, except for pictures… and sunset on the water is always a beautiful thing to see.”
