Fire disrupts commute on Route 50 in Dorchester Co.

Official warn commuters to drive with caution on Rt. 50 in Cambridge. 

According to the Cambridge Police Department’s Facebook page, the Rescue Fire Company, along with multiple other local Fire Departments are  on the scene of a fire at the American Legion that happened, Tuesday afternoon.

Officials warn all drivers traveling on Rt. 50 or out of Cambridge to expect heavy traffic and delays.

At this moment, authorities say they are working to put out the fire, and reopen Rt. 50 to the public.
